April 26, 2006 - Why, Kim, WHY???

So Kim and I are at this huge stadium, getting ready for a real important Storm game. Yes, they still lost to St. Louis, but apparently they weren't ready to call it quits for the season. For some reason her and I felt highly important, like maybe we were more behind the scenes than we had been before (but not quite that far). We saw some of the guys, we said hi, and we watched them practice. Then all of the sudden, the game was called off. It was posponed to the next day or something. I'm sure more happened, because I remember feeling this air of importance to the whole situation and everything that happened. We were in Chicago, but it was much more massive of a place than the UIC Pavillion. I think it had it's own airport...it did have its own bar, and that's where we went next.

Kim, Victoria, me and some others headed over to the bar. We weren't sure if the team was going to be there, or if they were waiting until a bit later. Then I saw Sammy. And then Novi. We decided we were all hungry, and went over to the front, away from all the players, others, and the drinking, and were going to order some food. The front looked like it was closed, and none of us really wanted to eat at the bar. Thankfully, one of the waitresses said she'd take care of us, no problem, even though the manager was looking at us like he wanted to kill us.

A few more people showed up, one of them being Ken. I think at some point in time, he kept switching back and forth between him and Danny, but they could have just both been seperate, and I'm just confused. Next thing I know, we're outside and it's daylight. Sammy's talking about two CDs he just bought. He's really excited about them. Rachel's there, and I think she's talking to him. For some reason, she's getting along with him, and it's kinda freaking me out. Again, there were some other things I felt happened, but they've escaped my mind.

Then Rachel and I are all of the sudden in my room. She showed me this nifty device that is basically like a vacuum for leg hair. It takes just a little longer than shaving, but lifts the hair out by the roots. No pain and always smooth. We're supposed to be on our way someplace, but it didn't seem like we were in that much of a hurry. We were thinking we were waiting on my parents. This "suckcut" type shaving system just amazed me. I took my time until there was a beep from the driveway. Apparently everyone was waiting in the Avalanche - that included Sammy. That took me by surprise. I yell that we will be down in a minute, but Sammy yells back "just open the garage door" and he starts getting out of the car.

I freak, grab some jeans and pull them on. My legs are just about finished, but there is no time now. Then I realize I'm wearing my "zamboni" shirt Kim made me, and I wasn't going to wear that. I run to close my door and change my shirt, but for some reason, Rachel opened it back up. I yell at her to close it, but too late. Sammy walks in talking about his CDs. I cover myself and hide within my closet door. He sits down on a container in front of my dresser and starts asking me if I knew where his other CD was. I keep trying to get him to leave by saying things like "just give me a minute, and I'll help you," but he just doesn't get it. Finally I yell, "Get the hell out of my room, Sammy!" That he understands and leaves.

At this point in time, I wake up, and I can't believe it was another freaking soccer dream. Or more importantly, who was involved. I usually don't pick up dreams where Ieft off, but for some reason the nightmare was destined to continue.

My family, I and Sammy drive to this theater or something. I don't know if it's supposed to be a movie theater, or there was a speaker or what. I just know it was awkward trying to find seating. Whatever we were there to see must have been delayed, because my dad takes us out to dinner. No one seems to know where to go. My dad picks this one place, that seems like it's off of a gas station, and I suggest someplace else. My dad is mad, but he says it's fine.

I like this place from the get go. They're selling a lot of Rainbow Brite stuff. I know I'm going to waste a lot of money once we're done eating. Sammy does't know that part of me, and really, I could care less. So we take our seats, and I'm sitting across from my dad and Marissa. My mom sits on one of the ends, and Sammy sits in between Rachel and I. He makes some comment, and I say that either he and I can switch places, or he and Rachel could. There is no way on Earth, anyone would want to sit inbetween Rachel and I. It's a death sentence...no, actually, more along the lines of a license for a straight jacket.

I'm hoping he'll decide to switch places with Rachel, that way I'd be next to her, and he'd be further away from me. No dice. No one moves. I take comfort in the fact that I'm going to get some crazy milkshake with pieces of cookie dough and cake in it. It's only $2.00.

This is when my alarm clock wakes me up. I look over at Beaker, and ask her why this is all happening. I hit snooze, and fall back to sleep. I know I had short dreams within the 9 minute intervals between 6:15 and 7am, but I don't actually remember them. I'm pretty sure they continued with the story. Every now and then I have a flash of something else that could have only happened, if my dream kept going.

These continuing dream things RARELY happen to me, and they never seem to continue more than once. WHY? I would like to know, honestly. I don't mind my dreams continuing, I just wish the subject matter was different.
